Biomy screen name is my name in hawaiian. i spend so much time thinking about things that it is difficult to become enveloped in experiences except for the ones i am busy reflecting on in my head, and even harder to allow myself to really enjoy them when i am stuck in my own head all the time. i have found that writing gives my thoughts a bit more tangibility, that looking at the words in writing makes them a little less abstract, which makes them less intimidating. solutions and reflections seem more sensible when the thoughts can be put on hold and left to look at later, from the perspectives that time can provide us. i like it, and i feel a little saner for it.
